A "Wee Reversal" at the Library of Congress
I laughed upon reading that the Library of Congress even briefly pondered lumping all of Scottish literature as "English literature" recently. What it succeeded in doing was gaining international headlines for itself in what surely must have been a highlands uproar! We applaud the decision to back down (after intense lobbying, as reported in today's Washington Post) and put Scotland and its wonderful authors back where they belong.
